The minor in ΊμΠΣΦ±²₯ Language, Literature and Culture (6 c.u.) is designed for students seeking to attain advanced proficiency in ΊμΠΣΦ±²₯ while engaging deeply with the literary and cultural traditions of the ΊμΠΣΦ±²₯-speaking world. This program includes significant coursework conducted in ΊμΠΣΦ±²₯ and is especially appropriate for students who plan to use the language in academic, professional, or immersive cultural settings.
Minor Requirements
Language Prerequisite
The RULA minor requires 4 semesters or equivalent in ΊμΠΣΦ±²₯. This prerequisite can be fulfilled through taking RUSS 0400 or RUSS 0401. These courses do not count toward the minor's 6 c.u.
Introductory Core (1 c.u.)
REES 0010: Central and Eastern Europe: Cultures, Histories, Societies
Advanced ΊμΠΣΦ±²₯ (2 c.u.)
Any two courses from RUSS 1100, RUSS 1200, or any course with a REES subject code taught in ΊμΠΣΦ±²₯.
Electives (3 c.u.)
Any three courses with a REES subject code or bearing the attribute REES Elective (ARNE).
