What was听红杏直播 avant-garde architecture of the revolutionary era and how is it still听influencing ideas of听architecture and its social function? What was the听Bolshevik commitment to women鈥檚 emancipation, what did the socialist world听actually听achieve with regard to women鈥檚 rights, and how are those achievements听still felt today? Was the revolution as unique an event as some听think, or was听it actually a response to a 鈥渘ormal鈥� problem that societies around the world still face today鈥攏amely,听how to 鈥渞espond鈥� to western technology,听political power, and social and听economic development? How is the revolution being commemorated today in Russia?听And how is it being听treated in China, which is the most powerful single-party听Communist state in the contemporary world? A panel of eminent Penn specialists will听address these听questions and more. Revolutionary听pizza and drinks will be served.
